That being said, I like cocktails more, so I cannot speak to the wine stuff specifically.Ĭlub level. Even the marked-up, non-included wines are not truly top-of-the-line wines. The included wines are essentially what you would get at other resorts. More of a marketing gimmick than anything. Excellence does not but is still adults-only you get a few friend groups and families with adult children (like mine-I'm one of the kid). I have only stayed at Excellence, but if Beloved is anything like Excellence, it will be awesome. You should seriously, seriously consider Beloved Playa Mujeres. We were the only non-couple we met at the resort for over half our trip. Then the guy hesitated before noting that we could purchase a romantic evening on the beach, and I realized what was going on-they thought we were a couple (lol). The staff kind of looked at us funny as we were checking in and they were giving us the orientation spiel. The focus was definitely chilling near or in the pools.įunny story: I went with my friend (both of us are men) it was our first time to an all-inclusive. There were some shows/entertainment and activities, but not as much as in some other places. Nothing too loud, though-I had no problem reading my book by the pool when I wanted some quiet. It did not feel like crazy dance party, but some people were definitely buzzed and even more outgoing in the afternoons. The vibe was slightly younger (mainly 30s/40s) than some other places I have been. There are three terraced pools that were definitely large enough for everyone. You do sometimes have to wait to be seated you are given one of those buzzers and can head off to a bar or whatever while waiting. The food and restaurants are varied and good (I enjoyed Dragons and Nebbiolo in particular, but I love those cuisines as well). I stayed at Secrets the Vine Cancun and loved it. We would prefer not to go back to Los Cabos this time as we want to see a new part of Mexico, but we did love staying at Marquis there on the honeymoon other than the hurricane.Īny help is appreciated! Would prefer no TA sales pitch direct messages however Open to any other suggestions in Riveria Maya, Cancun. My wife and I do love wine so more free wine options would be very cool. Couldn't tell if this had a lot more free wine than the other resorts or if they just are centered around trying to upgrade you in wine. Seems a little bit like Miami vibes with the high rise is all. Secrets the Vine Cancun - we could upgrade our room here significantly and still be cheaper than many of the others on the list. Price seems pretty good but also seems very far from the airport Secrets Maroma Beach- Highly recommended online but I cant quite see why it is so hyped. Cons are obviously the price, but if most everything is included, I wouldn't mind paying for this. Le Blanc Cancun - Looks to be the nicest of anything we are looking at and the food seems top notch. Unico 2087 (don't like the long drive, people say mediocre food, but seems like it has amazing rooms and quite a bit included for the price) Wife and I are looking at an all inclusive in Mexico for our one year anniversary as half our honeymoon was taken from us by a hurricane last September in Los Cabos.
